Now, I’m here to share this messy, magical process with you—authentically, wholeheartedly, and probably with a little paint on my shirt.

Hi, I’m Lori Poff Kellogg, and welcome to the latest chapter of my life’s novel—this one’s all about creativity, transformation, and a lot of unfinished canvases propped up in weird places.

For years, I felt like the background character in everyone else’s story. You know, the one holding the snacks, cheering from the sidelines, or solving everyone’s problems. I was someone’s daughter, wife, mother, best friend, and yes, the occasional comic relief. But somewhere along the way, I lost the plot of my own story. Trauma and obstacles left me feeling small and silent, like a footnote in my own life.

But creativity? That was my well-worn bookmark, always saving my spot. I didn’t go to art school or spend hours mastering technique—I just painted, scribbled, and wrote whenever I could steal a moment. It wasn’t about making art; it was about keeping my sanity intact.
